What you'll do
Ready to join a great team as a Global Technology Director for Water based-, Solvent Based Acrylates- and UV PSA Hotmelt- adhesive?
Drive long-term strategic technology development in line with HAT/Division/SBU strategy along the entire value chain.
Addressing requirements along sustainability, innovation, cost, capability, capacity and footprint.
Define Technology Roadmaps by translating SBU needs in Ops & Supply Chain, Innovation, and Purchasing priorities.
Maintain proximity to SBUs and ensure cross-SBU/Divisional, cross-functional exchange and collaboration on assigned HAT technologies.
Develop, coordinate & execute impactful key strategic initiatives and action plans with involved functions and SBUs.
Take ownership that key technology projects incl. investments are scoped / prioritized / timed adequately and well communicated.
Defines and executes the product and technology strategy globally within the given portfolio responsibility.
Manages and optimizes product profitability and COGs projects on a global level in alignment with Regional Product Management.
Manages ad-hoc crises such as raw material shortages globally and cross-SBU.
What makes you a good fit
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent degree is a strong advantage.
Over 5 years of experience in areas such as Marketing, Strategy, Technology Management, Operations, Product Management, or Product Development, ideally related to water-based technologies or acrylates.
At least 2 years of international or intercultural work experience.
Preferably a minimum of 7 years of total professional experience.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing mid- to long-term strategies.
Proven track record of steering global and cross-functional teams effectively.
Experience driving technology transformation projects or managing organizational change.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and inspire people at all levels of the organization, including senior decision-makers.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities, with a structured approach to problem-solving.
A strong passion for problem-solving and innovation.
Results-driven mindset, focused on continuous improvement and value creation.
Knowledge of manufacturing engineering and/or operations is a plus.
Project management experience is beneficial for this role.
Fluency in English is essential.
The salary for this role is $115,000.00 - $180,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
