Infosys Limited Business Analyst in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst.
This position's primary responsibility will be to help clients with strategy definition, value realization, implementation, and operations. The role holder will be a key player in the team that helps discover and define the problem statement, Code, Test and implement. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts, Code, test and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions. Our team is seeking a passionate Techno-functional profiles to support the definition and delivery of solutions, in the Capital markets domain. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are seeking to meaningfully empower our business partners with core data management technology solutions. You will serve as a change advocate, driving a user-centric view with powerful experiences that delight our customers. You will also strengthen our channels of communication and uphold our principles of transparency and partnership while engaging with product peers, design experts, program leaders and engineering partners to drive successful product execution.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ or Pennington, NJ or Bridgewater, NJ and this position will require you to work out of client locations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.
Experience as a Business Analyst.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
Ability to deliver results in a techno-functional role, in an Agile environment.
Strong experience in SQL programming.
Should have very strong command of data structures and algorithms, plus how the Java collections framework uses them.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to translate business data analysis into actionable tasks.
Ability to author thorough, detailed, high-quality documentation, including customer journey maps, user stories, use cases and test scripts.
Must have in-depth hands-on knowledge of Core Java.
Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.
Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.
Strong in object-oriented design principles and functional programming.
In-depth knowledge of the Java concurrency framework is a must.
A very strong command of data structures and algorithms, plus how the Java collections framework uses them.
Facilitate the gathering and elicitation of business requirements from key stakeholders and business partners focused around solving organizational challenges.
Prioritize user stories and work expected within the Sprints for squad based on urgency, pervasiveness (the greater good) and organizational goals.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Experience in Capital Markets Domain.
Ability to identify risks and issues and propose improvements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
