Overview The Associate Director, Clinical Financial Management's primary role is to ensure accuracy and standardization of clinical financial reporting including budget planning, forecasting, and accrual management of assigned clinical trials. This role will be responsible for leading and working with Development Operations team members on the development, standardization, management and oversight of financial processes, systems, and tools and acts as the primary department liaison with Insmed Finance. Responsibilities * Provides support and expertise in developing effective clinical forecasts and budgets based on Clinical Operations study team input. * Responsible for developing and implementing financial process changes associated with business decisions for the Development Operations department. * Identifies gaps and areas for improvement and leads the implementation and/or enhancement of clinical financial systems and processes including production of training materials and training execution. * Drives change management initiatives to establish new tools and business processes within Development Operations. * Manages clinical financial reporting deliverables and financial cycle reporting for clinical trials to support the department SOX control. * Acts as primary liaison with Insmed Finance, ensuring alignment of processes, timelines, and format of financial reporting. * Develops and cultivates internal stakeholder and external vendor relationships to support clinical programs. * Develops and enhances processes and standardization related to Vendor/CRO interaction for reporting of accruals and actuals. * Leads the standardization of the Clinical Finance processes in vendor Accrual and forecast management. * Assists with standardization of clinical site payment administration tracking to enhance accuracy of monthly accrual and forecast reporting across all trialsRequirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related fields preferred. * The candidate should have a minimum of 9-10 years' experience in accounting/finance, clinical contracts/budget administration, and have clinical operations study management experience. * Experience with Industry clinical and/or financial software (e.g., Oracle Clear Trial, Budgeting/Planning software or equivalent) is required. * Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written). * Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness. * Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Individuals must demonstrate the ability to interact successfully in a global, dynamic, and culturally diverse workplace.
