Key Responsibilities: - Tax Preparation: Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals, businesses and other entities. - Client Consultation: Meet with clients to gather necessary information and documents, answer questions and provide tax advice. - Compliance: Ensure all tax filings comply with federal, state and local tax regulations. Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed records of all tax-related documents and client interactions. - Research: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and current tax advice. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred. - Previous experience in tax preparation, preferably in a public accounting firm. - Strong knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws and regulations. - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
