Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing. The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Job Summary:

Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements, modifications or additions to document work. Reviews product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules. Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

-Supports refineries with technical assistance in identifying process unit performance improvements and troubleshooting.

-Works closely with refineries’ process engineering groups to develop and maintain in-depth, up-to-date insight into current state. Evaluates refinery unit configurations and develops optimized alternatives.

-Facilitates identification of Cash Improvement Initiatives (CII) to improve yields through technical evaluation of feasibility, viability and implementation risk using quantitative criteria.

-Leads process engineering network.

-Facilitates improvements to refineries’ linear programming (LP) and kinetic process models. Works with process engineering groups to assist with development of data needed for each refinery’s LP model. Compares real-time plant data to evaluate models’ accuracy.

Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:

At least 8 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Master's or MBA degree typically preferred.

Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:

10-20 years process engineering experience in refining industry required.
