Job Summary and Qualifications

The Finance Manager will assist the Controller and CFO in developing, compiling, analyzing statistical data, identifying trends, formulating conclusions and reporting these results in support of the Lab Service Line decision-making processes. The Finance Manager will oversee the financial activity of all Lab operations as well as serve as a mentor for all Sr. Financial Analysts & Financial Analysts.

What you will do in this role:

• Supervise and coordinate the following financial activities: monthly financial statement analysis, monthly revenue cycle analysis, new program proformas, weekly projections; coordination with hospital financial staff at all levels, annual budgeting, and any other financial activity deemed necessary by the CFO or Controller.

• Present financial reporting to Division and Service Line leadership.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with Service Line operating partners and Division/Hospital leadership.

• Develop plans and objectives with the CFO, Controller, Lab Regional VPs, and financial analyst staff regarding short-term and long-term range financial activities in areas such as budgeting, financials statement analysis, billing and cash collection system analysis, reporting and internal auditing.

• Work with the accounting department in reviewing financial data to create accurate financial

• statements.

• Coordinate with HCAPG & Hospital financial staff in the creation of annual capital and operating budgets.

• Select, train, motivate, and evaluate personnel to ensure quality of service and technical expertise.

• Ad hoc report development in platforms such as Microstrategy, Essbase, Business Objects

• Maintains strictest confidentiality.

• Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.

• Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.”

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field, required

• Five to six years of experience in a finance or accounting position, preferred
