Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Director of Transparency & Pricing Analytics Data, you will be responsible for collaborating with ITG, completing reporting requests and working to ensure transparency reporting tools are correct. You will also explore ways to gain efficiencies via process improvements and utilize thought leadership to implement beneficial strategic initiatives for the company.

The position requires a hands-on, tactical leader who will work closely with the team, customers, and corporate stakeholders. You will be able to understand complex ideas and ensure the implementation with minimal disruption. You will motivate others to perform all duties with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness. You need to have respect and use good judgment with access to highly confidential hospital financial metrics, including but not limited to volumes, revenues, contracted rates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with ITG to define work requests and set delivery expectations related to transparency

  • Responsible for department’s operational excellence by ensuring delivery of quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards

  • Develops and builds strategic internal and external networks

  • Identify areas for process improvement and consult with the necessary cross-functional teams for resolution

  • Overseeing and develop training curriculum on PCA Analytics Reporting tools.

  • Prepare transparency reporting presentations/reports for PCA and special requests as needed.

  • Coordinate with PCA on ad hoc financial requests as necessary

  • Manage multiple projects related to transparency requests

  • Present data or analytic findings in a variety of formats (reports, PPT, graphs, figures and tables)

  • Keep management advised on project progress, potential issues, obstacles, conflicts or challenges

  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested including ad-hoc analysis to determine methods to optimize transparency data Perform other analytical support and operational duties as assigned by leadership to support department initiatives and priorities

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelors Degree is required

  • Master's Degree is preferred

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Must have extensive PC skills including spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation applications

  • Results-oriented, ability to utilize and manage the organization’s resources to achieve results

  • Must have strong analytical, written, verbal, meeting facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Strong commitment to accuracy and a high level of attention to detail
