Position Summary Information

Objective Perform piano accompaniment at scheduled practices, concerts, productions and as needed.

* Required Quals Summary* Bachelors degree in music with significant accompanying experience. Additional significant accompanying experience may be considered instead of a degree. Ability to sight read or prepare, prior to rehearsal, piano accompaniments and choral scores.

* Special Notes To Applicants* A live audition in Brenham, TX is required for this position. Candidates will be expected to be prepared for the following: 1. One selection from either 24 Italian Songs and Arias OR 50 Selected Songs by Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Strauss, and Wolf. The selection, including music, will be given to the candidate at the audition. 2. Prepare to accompany the aria Votre toast, je peux vous le rendre from Carmen 3.
