Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Bremerton, Washington

Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Office of the Judge Advocate General of NLSC. Responsibilities You will identify, extract, analyze, and summarize significant trends and issues affecting the planned execution. You will develop alternative courses of action to correct and/or adjust projected trends. You will monitor execution of program financial indicators and perform detailed analysis of variances. You will develop, maintain and monitor integrated reporting systems which reflect program performance. You will utilize various financial systems related to payroll and timekeeping. You will provide customer service and communication. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a knowledge and experience with financial policies and regulations with specific emphasis on timekeeping and payroll. Specialized experience will include examples of the following: 1) Utilizing various financial management systems related to payroll, timekeeping and customer service/communication; 2) Identifying, analyzing and resolving financial execution problems such as, missing documentation, system access issues and audit questions; 3) Evaluating budget requests, control and reporting of obligated expenditures; and 4) Applying a knowledge and experience with funds management, financial oversight, budget formulation and budget execution.
