Pay Range : $21 - $26 per hour, based on shift

Job Description:

As a Semiconductor Manufacturing Operator, you will play a vital role in our cleanroom environment, operating state-of-the-art equipment to produce high-quality semiconductor products. Responsibilities:

• Operate Equipment: Use manually- or computer-controlled equipment to meet production and quality goals.

• Setup and Operation: Set up and operate complex manual and computer-controlled equipment.

• Team Collaboration: Work constructively with team members to process wafers and optical components.

• Performance Tracking: Utilize computer software to track operational performance and make minor corrections to improve productivity.

• Quality Assurance: Follow quality management procedures and identify quality issues.

• Clean and Safe Environment: Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• Multitasking: Perform other required duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Essential Skills:

• Microscope Experience: Proficiency in using microscopes for detailed work.

• Electronics Assembly: Experience in assembling electronic components.

• Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Equipment Operation: Ability to learn and operate complex manual and computer-controlled equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: High-school diploma or GED.

• Experience: Previous manufacturing experience in a cleanroom environment is preferred.

• Computer Literacy: Comfortable with using computers and willing to learn new software.

• Manual Dexterity: Ability to perform light lifting and carrying duties.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods (3-5 hours).

Work Environment:

• Cleanroom Setting: Work in a cleanroom environment requiring special garments (cleanroom suits, hoods, shoe covers, gloves).

• Chemical Handling: Periodically handle up to 1 gallon of chemicals (acid/base/solvents) with personal protective equipment.

• Shift Schedule: Shifts are 6am-6pm/6pm-6am with guaranteed 8 hours of overtime pay every other week.

• Breaks: Enjoy three 30-minute breaks, with the option to combine breaks for a longer lunch.

• Facilities: Access to a cafeteria and a breakroom with lunch and snack options.
