Job Summary:

The Inspector is in charge of guestroom inspections in accordance to Vail Resorts brand standards. The role requires anticipation of needs, awareness and responsiveness to ensure guest satisfaction.

Job Specifications:

  • Outlet:  Gravity Haus

  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.76 / hour

  • Shift & Schedule Availability:  Full Time

  • Skill Level: Entry to Intermediate

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect hotel and condos in accordance to brand standards

  • Maintain cleanliness of hallways and common areas

  • Supervisie and train housekeeping staff

  • Report any maintenance issues to management and document in HotSOS

  • Assist with cleaning of rooms or laundry as needed

  • Report lost items to Housekeeping office and record/follow up in Lost and Found log as directed

  • Report theft or damage to the management and BRS

  • Ensure proper furnishings, literature and amenities are in units

  • Assist housekeeping managers with initial set up and closing procedures

  • Maintain carts, linen rooms, and Housekeeping equipment and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in hotels or condos - Preferred

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Required

  • Able to stand for long periods of time on concrete in excess of 2 hours without sitting.- Required

  • Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook,) - Preferred

  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal - Preferred

  • High school diploma – Preferred

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $22.76. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
