Robert Half Technical Sales Representative in Brea, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Product Technical Support Specialist based in Brea, California. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support for our range of products, including video imaging and IP cameras. You will also be involved in product testing, troubleshooting, and the creation of technical knowledge base articles, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver end-to-end support for our range of products, which include IP cameras, PTZ cameras, and video imaging products.

• Provide technical support across multiple platforms such as phone, email, and chat apps, including remote desktop and TeamViewer.

• Conduct hands-on product testing, troubleshooting, and hardware and firmware upgrades.

• Create and document best practices, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting processes to enhance our technical knowledge base.

• Collaborate with our corporate R& D department on new product testing, trouble resolution, technical document support, and debugging procedures.

• Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support for dealers, end users, internal training, and sales tech-support.

• Conduct online and on-premise technical training for dealers and systems integrators. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Technical Support Specialist or in a similar role

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Live Video and IP Cameras

• Proficiency in using TeamViewer and Wireshark

• Experience in handling Digital Cameras, especially in a Broadcast or Live Broadcast setting

• Understanding of Broadcast Engineering is essential

• Must have worked with Axis2 and CCTV systems previously

• Should be well-versed in Unified Communication and TCP/IP Networking

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Illustrator, and Photoshop Or Illustrator is required

• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required
