The Senior Manager of Contract Administration is responsible for overseeing the contracting process within our Client Service team. This role ensures that all contracts are executed and managed in compliance with contract terms and conditions, company policies and legal requirements. This role leads a team of contract administration managers, supervisors, and associates, providing the best of the industry level of customer experience.

This position is part of the Client Services Contract Administration team located in Brea, CA and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our mission is to Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide leadership to a team of approximately 30-40 associates, comprised of Contract Administration Managers, Supervisors, and Contract administration associates who are accountable for contract execution and administration to US Diagnostics Customers in the Quote to Cash value stream.

  • Collaborate with the commercial organization to drive excellence through account contract management for field sales and service. Directs the resolution of complex or unusual business problems across functional lines and departments

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as legal, finance, marketing, sales, and service teams to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions

  • Deliver a high-quality, effortless customer experience by quality management of contract bookings, contract administration, and billing processes for >10,000 customer contracts by the establishment of customer service standards, procedures, performance levels, and documentation requirements

  • Responsible for associate career cycle including hiring, development, inclusion, engagement, succession, and performance management. Including developing objectives and long-term strategic goals for the department

  • Engage with Client Service leadership to develop and deliver strategic plans for the growth of the Diagnostics business

  • Lead, participate, and implement improvements as needed through workshops, process improvements, and business cases to deliver on organizational objectives.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor Degree with 14+ years of experience or 12+ years with a Master’s Degree

  • 4+ years’ experience directly leading a team and demonstrated past success in building high performing teams with a focus on people development

  • Experience with contracting principles

  • Experience with process improvement and DBS, or lean six sigma

The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $190,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
