Job Description:

Position Summary: The Professional Education Coordinator will be responsible for managing all the continuing education lectures and Hands-On Courses (HOC) to fulfill Kerr’s North American Professional Education goals and objectives. They will be working closely with subject matter experts and other dental professionals to facilitate effective and engaging educational content including but not limited to online courses, webinars, workshops, seminars, and other learning materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under limited supervision, coordinates and manages deliverables for all events for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Manages event requests via Smart Sheet, Cvent registrations, contracts, and Professional Education department payments.

Collaborates with the Professional Education department and other cross-functional departments when setting up courses and events for exceptional customer experience.

Provides recommendations to proactively avoid potential scheduling and resource conflicts for lecture events. Tactfully responds and resolves issues at events.

Ensures all continuing education activities comply with company policies and standards/guidelines set by relevant dental associations, and boards.

Facilitates professional education contracts between in-house legal team and third parties which include hotel/food, trade show, commercial sponsorship, educational grants, and co-sponsorship grants. Negotiates contracts in collaboration with the legal team when needed and ensures full execution in a timely manner.

Creates requisitions through company’s purchasing system.

Utilizes, manages, and tracks company purchasing card expenditures and reports expenses to the finance department monthly.

Assists with developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract participants and evaluates the effectiveness of continuing education events.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental industry trends and continuing education requirements.

Adheres to all company policies and procedures including safety and quality.

Participates in continuous improvement activities under the Envista Business System (EBS).

Travel domestically up to 10% via ground or air.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required. Bachelor's degree in Education or Business Administration preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience required including event planning. Experience with Cvent is highly preferred.

  • Knowledgeable with dental terminology highly preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to travel to events via ground or air up to 10% required.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills required.

  • Technical aptitude to quickly learn various computer business systems required.

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English are required.

  • Professional demeanor and presentation required.

  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness required.

  • Strong listening skills and ability to build relationships with people with diverse personalities.

  • Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work assignments and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$25.80 - $30.10 per hour
