We are seeking two compassionate Temporary College Health Nurses for our Office of Student Health, each working this 13 hour-per-week position. The nurses will work collaboratively with the Director of Student Health Services, Student Counseling Services and Student Affairs to enhance on-campus student medical services. Applicants should have a friendly demeanor, strong sense of humor, and passion for helping others!

Compensation: $30-35/hr, commensurate with experience.

Duties: The nurse will assess and assist our students with physical and mental health issues, provide basic first aid for minor injuries and OTC treatment for common illnesses. Additionally, the nurse will keep complete and accurate documentation of care delivered and arrange for students to receive further treatment by on or off campus health resources. Must know and comply with all confidentiality requirements as set by HIPAA, FERPA, federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements: Must be a licensed registered nurse in the state of Pennsylvania, preferably with a bachelor's degree in nursing, with at least three years' nursing experience. Strong physical assessment skills and excellent decision-making are essential as the nurse will practice independently within a set of standing orders. Must have strong written and oral communication skills to enthusiastically promote health and wellness and empower our students to be well-informed health care consumers.
