Assistant Professor of Health & Physical Education, beginning Fall 2025 (Appointment-Stream)
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is currently seeking a Full-Time Assistant Professor of Health & Physical Education (Appointment-Stream) in the Division of Management and Education, beginning Fall 2025.
*Requirements: *Masters in HPED or a closely related field with a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates. Scholarship, advising, and service activities are required. Experience supervising student teachers and teaching at the university or collegiate level is required.
Responsibilities: Applicants must be able to teach 12 credits per semester in Health and Physical Education at the undergraduate level. Preferred courses include Current Issues in Community Health; Individual, Team and Recreational Sports; Motor Behavior; Educational Movement Concepts; and related courses in HPEDU. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience. Candidates with experience working with college students from diverse backgrounds and applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.
