Description

We are offering an opportunity in the education sector for an Accounting Clerk in Bradenton, Florida. This role is critical in ensuring smooth financial operations within our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Handle billing procedures and data entry tasks

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting operations

• Manage account reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Process customer invoices accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate records for customer credits and transactions

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status

• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and transactions

• Ensure all accounting tasks are performed in accordance with industry standards and regulations

• Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline accounting processes.

Requirements

• Proficient in account reconciliation methods and practices

• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with billing processes and protocols

• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently

• Experience in invoice processing and management

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing data

• Experience with QuickBooks for managing business financials

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
