JOB SUMMARY:

Supervise the deliveries and receiving of perishable and non-perishable items for the Commissary. Develop policies and procedures for packing and shipping of food items to multiple sites. Maintain accurate records and systems to track deliveries and inventory. Supervise drivers and coordinate deliveries. Maintain the program’s fleet of vehicles. Coordinate with contracted mechanic the routine maintenance and repairs of vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree plus at least one year work experience in food service or warehouse operations and one year of supervisory experience or a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least three years related work experience in food service or warehouse operations with at least one year of supervisory experience.

• Have strong organizational skills.

• Possess current Connecticut Driver’s License.

• Reliable transportation for daily travel to work and as needed

• Strong understanding of computer skills to include Microsoft office required.

Have good written and oral communication skills.
