Nelson Laboratories Holdings, LLC Maintenance Technician II in Bozeman, Montana

Technician II is to provide technical expertise in all aspects of laboratory equipment and facilities, building and supporting systems. The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for following all regulatory requirements, maintenance and calibration procedures, common safe mechanical guidelines and good housekeeping practices while performing their duties. The Maintenance Technician II will give technical advice, recommendations, and support to other departments/sections as support for projects, issues and/or questions.

Essential Duties:

General
Maintain, trouble-shoot, and repair all laboratory equipment.
Maintain and operate calibration and maintenance recall system.
Recommend new equipment to meet laboratory needs.
Assist in equipment and procedure validations.
Assist in facility maintenance functions.
Determine maintenance and calibration requirements and write necessary procedures.
Maintain maintenance and calibration procedure files.
Be able to monitor and record temperature/relative humidity. system (Rees)
Monitor in-house (RO/DI) Water systems including standalone units.
Maintain in-house vacuum, air supply, and emergency power systems.
Achieve a "hands on" and/or "mentor" training certification.
Perform calibrations as determined by the calibration manager.

Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and assist in moving heavy equipment, etc.
More than 75% of time spent walking, lifting, or working on equipment.
Wear personal protective equipment such as hoods, lab coats, safety glasses, goggles, gloves, facemasks, shoe coverings, and respiratory equipment as applicable.
Climb up onto and down from equipment.
Climb up and down ladder.
Able to manipulate small hand tools.

Education and experience requirements:
