Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified ServiceNow Ticket Admin to join their team for a remote position, with this resource working EST hours. The ideal candidate will have excellent understanding and knowledge of ServiceNow.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in ServiceNow ticketing system to have RFO resource approve service requests

  • Watch ticket flow and assist with tickets stuck for whatever reason

  • Escalate tickets not moving through the process

  • Respond to incidents / pages for application functional issues or questions as part of daily duties

  • Use technical knowledge to triage service availability issues and restore service

  • Research and resolve system defects, lead root cause analysis, and drive permanent resolution

  • Ensure appropriate monitoring is in place and maintained to ensure application availability

  • Participate in and coordinate maintenance activities

  • Prepare and maintain application support / process documentation

  • Monitor and support application components and infrastructure critical to the business

  • Fulfill requests from users, operations, auditors, and regulators within service level agreements and drive operational excellence through process improvement and monitoring development efforts related to supported technologies

  • Communicate status updates and technical details, such as infrastructure, application and client impact, and component points of failure to management, and provide reporting on environment and incident status in operational meetings

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to talk with stakeholders with confidence
