TEKsystems Critical Environment Facility Support Engineer in Boydton, Virginia

Description

Position Overview: The role involves providing necessary escort to third-party contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and service providers on site. The candidate will work on tasks such as making rounds and initial assessments on equipment performance under supervision. Responsibilities include performing basic monitoring of the performance of maintenance and operations of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety) within the data center with supervision. Tasks also include visual or non-intrusive preventative maintenance, single CRAH preventative maintenance, AHU filter replacement, eyewash and duress button preventative maintenance, humidifier preventative maintenance, and VESDA alert or supervisory (low air flow). Ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and compliance with all physical security procedures and policies is crucial.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.

  • Experience: Experience with electrical systems in high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields.

  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Work Experience: 5+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls, data center).

  • Skills: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
