Wood County Hospital is now accepting applications for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). The PTA provides personal care and professional excellence by assisting in the physical therapy patient care program under the direction of the Physical Therapist.

Job Duties:

• Implements patient’s Plan of Care; adjusts treatment appropriately; keeps the physical therapist informed.

• Consistently performs all or part of objective measurements such as ROM, MMT, special tests per goals established in the POC.

• Writes accurate and timely progress notes.

• Demonstrates knowledge and skills required for the application of all therapeutic modalities.

Schedule:

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week

Shift: Day Shift

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program

Minimum Certification/License:

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Ohio
