The Henkel Bowling Green, KY manufacturing facility is looking for top talent to lead our facility to Best in Class performance levels and culture. As a process technician, you will work with the cell team to deliver results in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), quick changeovers, yield, safety and quality through equipment optimization and process improvements. This position will report to the Cell Leader, be a member of the department team and work closely with operators and mechanics.

YOUR ROLE

  • Identify, analyze, prioritize and eliminate losses and inefficiencies.

  • Develop and create CILT, Time Based Maintenance (TBM), Work Instructions (WI), One Point Lessons (OPL) for assigned work area, as needed.

  • Develop, maintain, and validate standards to enable achievement of performance targets in operations.Generate and update work instructions and standards for production processes as required.

  • Utilize problem solving tools complete breakdown analysis, root cause analysis, yield losses and OEE analysis to ensure efficient machine up time and process efficiency.

  • Partner with reliability team to streamline planned downtime and reduce unplanned downtime.

  • Ensure all machines in area are operating safely, efficiently and reliably; if not make repairs or improvements to machines, collaborating with outside resources as needed

  • Serve as a technical trainer for operators and mechanics.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Technically very strong and knowledgeable about the area equipment and processes

  • Level 4 Mechanic, Electrician or similar qualifications preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.

  • Ability to influence others in a positive manner

  • Ability to train technical and operations employees

  • Effectively manages time as a resource, giving balanced attention to appropriate long term and short-term priorities.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and analytical skills

  • HPS and PM/PdM skills preferred; autonomous maintenance, daily management systems, quick changeovers, problem solving (RCS)

  • Desire to work in fast paced, hands on manufacturing environment with technicians and equipment.

  • Able to prioritize, plan and execute duties with minimal supervision

The salary for this role is $35.00 - $43.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
