The Department of Student Financial Assistance, seeks applicants for the position of Associate, Financial Aid Eligibility. The primary purpose of this position is to manage various batch processes involved in administering aid, primarily with regard to FAFSA processing. Additionally, this position will be responsible for multiple weekly audit reports to ensure aid programs are administered in accordance with governing federal, state and institutional regulations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are customary for this position, but are not to be construed as all-inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted, and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.

  • Processing corrections to applicant data

  • Sending and retrieving electronic files to/from federal processing center

  • Running batch process for assigning student's SAP (academic) status

  • Running batch process/audits for awarding student financial aid packages

  • Reviewing various weekly audits to ensure compliance

  • Assisting Verification Coordinator, and Assistant Director for Systems and Processing with other electronic needs, processes, and audits as necessary.

Knowledge and Skills Considered Essential for Success:

  • Familiarity with federal, state & institutional regulations for aid programs

  • Experience with programs such as Banner, Unix, &/or ASA Reporting

    Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years post-secondary education

  • Minimum of two years related experience

    Additional Information:

Hourly Range: $15.31 - $17.22
