Epilepsy Foundation Manager, Salesforce Administration in Bowie, Maryland

SUMMARY

The Manager, Salesforce Administration, will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and improvement of the Foundation’s CRM. This includes monitoring and entering data, generating reports, building dashboards, and creating and implementing effective solutions for the organization. This position reports to the Director of CRM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deploy CRM configuration changes, such as fields, flows, and record types.

  • Customize the user experience with personalized page layouts.

  • Lead the integration of new platforms and systems within the CRM ecosystem.

  • Install Salesforce updates, patches, and releases.

  • Create custom reports and dashboards based on internal department needs.

  • Manage user licenses, including new user setup, roles, profiles, and permissions.

  • Support requirement gathering and solution design that aligns with business goals.

  • Improve data hygiene by identifying trends in the database, taking corrective actions, and recommending advancements in policies.

  • Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned by the VP of Data Strategy and the Director of CRM.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience working with CRM systems and databases required; experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack strongly preferred.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems and platforms.

  • Knowledgeable in data governance processes and data quality best practices.

  • Highly meticulous and organized, with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite.

OTHER SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES

  • Experience with Marketing Cloud is a plus.

  • Understanding of fundraising/development is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
