SRI international is seeking a Security Professional and Manager to work independently with onsite Executives and Lab Directors with remote direct oversight. This is a unique opportunity to obtain experience with all security disciplines and multiple customers. You will have oversight of day-to-day security operations for DoD Collateral, Special Access and SCI Program activities; implement internal security procedures; participate in various security functions including the development of security plans and executing the responsibilities of a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO). This position will be onsite daily in Boulder, CO.

Responsibilities

Will manage Collateral, SAP and IC programs to include internal and external customer coordination and communication. Physical Security, Personnel Security, Program Security, and other CPSO and FSO duties as required. Write and route for approval plans and contract related documents. Manage 1 staff member and their associated duties.

Qualifications

BS/BA or equivalent plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in the FSO, SAP, and IC environments. U.S. Citizenship with current, active TS clearance required, SCI preferred. SAP Mid-Level certification and CDSE certifications, and other security training preferred. Combination of related industrial security experience will be considered. Knowledge of the following standards: 32 CFR Part 117, DoD Directive 5205.07, DCID/ICD policies and regulations, and other guiding policy documents. Working knowledge of the Department of Defense database programs; TALON, JADE, DISS, NISS, e-QIP and SWFT. Experience managing/supervising and/or mentoring staff. Must have hands-on experience with personal computers using Microsoft operating system and Microsoft office family of software. Experience with SIMS is preferred. Must possess excellent speaking, writing, organizational and customer service skills. Be available for occasional after-hours assistance. Some travel within the continental United States will be required The salary range is: $111,474-$170,000. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
