Postdoctoral position and Research Associate position are available in the Matter-by-Design group of Prof. Zunger at the CU Boulder Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute (RASEI). Prof. Zunger Research program is a highly productive and highly cited Condensed Matter Theory group located in the beautiful city of Boulder nested in the Rocky Mountains. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

• Successful candidates will have a strong background in fundamental physics, electronic structure theory, and modern computational approaches to solids.

• The position will involve theoretical and computational identification of oxide and halide perovskites with target physical properties ("Inverse Design") related to Quantum Materials functionalities ranging from doping, chirality, anti-ferromagnetism, metal-insulator transition and energy applications.

What We Can Offer

The Research Associate position is for up to 3 years based on mutual agreement, performance, and availability of continued funding. Commensurate with experience. $55,000 - $68,000 per year.

What We Require

• Postdoctoral Associate should hold a doctoral degree and have the academic qualifications comparable to the regular faculty ranks of Assistant Professor.
