Emerson Planning & Scheduling Supervisor in Boulder, Colorado

If you are a Planning/Scheduling/Materials Supervisor professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Boulder, Colorado location. Your leadership will help provide timely support & attention to daily matters to facilitate the job of planners, schedulers & expeditors. You will exercise independent judgment and decision-making within the scope of this job.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide guidance (day-to-day) to the planning team for a successful execution of the production plan.

  • Help facilitate communication among departments (planning, customer care, manufacturing, engineering & purchasing).

  • Provide day-to-day performance management to planners, schedulers & expeditors.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing & purchasing to develop, manage, and maintain internal build plans.

  • Update and facilitate training when required.

Who You Are:

You act with a clear sense of ownership. You approach day to day situations with high sense of empowerment & urgency. You help the planners, schedules & expeditors to achieve their goals and metrics by removing hurdles such as lack of communication among departments, poor execution of the production plan & errors in bill of materials and other related engineering matters.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering or related field plus a minimum of five (5) years of progressive related scheduling, materials management roles.

  • Previous supervisory experience required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively with various departments.

  • Exceptional customer service focus, including high level of responsiveness.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on a team.

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Ten (10) years of progressive related scheduling, materials management roles.

  • MBA preferred or APICS certified.

  • Emerson experience in Planning & scheduling roles.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $91,467-104,533 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
