We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Operations Engineering team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Uses deep proficiency in SolidWorks to design complex parts and assemblies. Uses knowledge in physics and engineering in mechanical design, electromagnetism, electronics, optics, and sensors to design market-leading probers that provide an excellent customer experience in cryogenic test and measurement. Uses knowledge of engineering and mechanical design to design and develop solutions to manufacturing problems. Provides technical design and analysis of low temperature cryogenic systems. Responsibilities can include working directly with customers regarding their technical requirements, analysis, ideation, and improving product manufacturability.

Education, Experience and Skills Required: Bachelor Degree in engineering or science and an advanced degree in related field highly desirable. Requires 2+ years of experience, preferably with cryogenic test and measurement system and engineering design. Strong physics and mathematical modeling knowledge, understanding of materials properties, manufacturing processes, and thermodynamics, experience with using scientific instruments.

The pay range for this role in Boulder, CO is between $77,000 and $101,010. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
