Outdoor Organics, LLC d/b/a Organo-Lawn (Boulder, CO) 6 F/T Temp. Lawn Care Technicians: 04/01/2025 - 11/22/2025. 40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday). Schedule may vary due to weather, and weekend work required, when necessary. $24.35-27.00/hour (OT $36.53-40.50) paid bi-weekly on Friday. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company s sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. H-2B application to be concurrently filed with USDOL. The Lawn Care Technician will perform organic weed control and fertilization applications as well as other plant health care services including: Fertilization applications push a broadcast spreader applying organic fertilizers and organic soil conditioner over lawns; Organic weed control treatments use a 200 gallon spray tank with 400 ft long hose to apply liquid organic weed control over lawns; Deep root tree fertilizer applications use spray tank and 400 ft long hose to inject a liquid organic fertilizer application into the soil for tree health. These are not advanced positions requiring experience or decision-making abilities. The treatment plan is pre-arranged and the Lawn Care Technicians are simply applying organic weed control treatment prescribed by more senior technicians. Any mixing of organic fertilizers is a pre-determined formula. This position also has no supervisory duties. Mix and apply organic weed control and fertilizers to turf, landscape beds, trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials. Perform core aeration using a machine that pulls plugs from the soil. Sprinkler blowouts using compressor and adjustments to sprinklers as needed. Load truck with equipment and supplies for scheduled daily projects. Clean up and maintenance of equipment used on a daily basis. Work in all weather conditions. Frequent Walking, standing, pulling, bending, pushing, grasping, lifting, carrying, and twisting throughout the day. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Post-accident drug testing at employer s expense. No education req'd. No experience req'd. No training. All tools/supplies req'd, provided at no cost. Daily transportation to/from worksite will be provided to the workers at no charge (e.g. designated daily pick-up place). Worksite at: 5575 Arapahoe Ave., Unit D, Boulder, CO 80303, Boulder County. Travel to project locations within Larimer, Weld, and Boulder counties of Colorado. Voluntary housing arrangements may be provided, upon availability, along with the corresponding deduction between $75-125/week depending on housing arrangements selected (utilities included). If the worker completes 50% of the employment contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59 per day with receipts. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
