Job Description Summary:UCAR Community Programs (UCP) is excited to announce the job opening for the Earth Observations and Data Services (EODS) Center Senior Administrator position. EODS provides essential Earth observations, derived products, data services, models, and tools to advance research, operations, and education in Earth Systems Science. The three unique programs within EODS (JCSDA, NSF Unidata, and COSMIC) provide unique service to the community.
UCP Business Shared Services (BSS) administrative teams are deployed to partner with each Center within UCP. The deployed teams integrate deeply within the center and come together as the BSS team to share knowledge, develop and refine best practices and bolster professional growth among administrative colleagues.
The EODS Senior Administrator reports to the UCP Director of Business Operations and has matrixed reporting to the EODS Center Director. The EODS Senior Administrator is a senior member of EODS Center and BSS leadership teams. This position provides leadership and overall management to ensure a high performing administrative team to partner with the EODS Center across functional areas including human resources, finance, budget, proposal and post award administration, and policy interpretation.
