Job Description * Key leadership position in Customer Energy Management. * Oversees all budget and administration functions for the department and acts as the interface to corporate finance functions. * Regulatory/compliance subject matter expert supporting Schedule 120 and associated regulatory processes such as the annual audit, Biennial Conservation Plan, Annual Conservation Plan and subsequent reports. * Strategic advisor providing counsel and guidance to Director, Customer Energy Management. * Engages in department and cross-organizational initiatives/projects advancing annual strategic initiatives. * Manages the relationship between WUTC Staff, Conservation Resource Advisory Group and Customer Energy Management. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. Job Responsibilities 1. Budget Management: Oversee Customer Energy Management budget, accounting and auditing processes. 2. Strategic Advisory: Provide counsel and guidance on key business decisions, strategic initiatives, and organizational priorities. 3. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring seamless execution of tasks, projects, and initiatives. 4. Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between Customer Energy Management and various stakeholders, including senior leaders, employees, customers, and external partners. 5. Project Management: Lead and manage special projects and initiatives on behalf of Customer Energy Management, ensuring timely and successful completion. 6. Issue Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact the organization, developing and implementing strategies to address them. 7. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, and external partners, to advance business objectives and promote a positive organizational image. Specifically oversee the Conservation Advisory Resource Group engagements and communication strategies. 8. Information Management: Ensure Customer Energy Management is informed and up-to-date on key business metrics, trends, and issues, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making. 9. Talent Development: Identify and develop talent within the Budget & Administration organization, providing coaching and guidance to support the growth and development of employees. 10.Change Management: Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and minimal disruption to business operations. 11.Special Projects: Undertake special projects and assignments as directed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or business - relevant technical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 4 years of increasing responsibility with utility demand-side programs Ability to work successfully with internal & external stakeholders representing diverse interests.
