RH2 Engineering Administrative Assistant 2 in Bothell, Washington

RH2 is currently seeking a mid-level Administrative Assistant 2 to support RH2's Engineering and Earth Sciences disciplines through administrative tactical duties, project support, contract support and document coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Provides intermediate administrative support to include scheduling meetings, making copies, routing information among team, and other clerical tasks to specified disciplines. i.e.: Civil, Electrical, Environmental, etc.

  • Coordinates the preparation of client and subconsultant contracts using the established contract review process. Tracks document status and ensures Director and Principal reviews, obtaining signatures by the deadline assigned.

  • Assists managers and professional staff with the preparation of letters, memoranda, reports, specifications, and other technical-related documents from rough drafts to final product following internal procedures. Prepares material for distribution as instructed.

  • Maintains network and paper copies of project files. Prepare files for archiving or destruction following internal processes.

  • Assists Administrative staff in other offices when time and workloads allow. Conducts research on various topics, as assigned.

  • May assist with RH2 events and meetings. Participates in special assignments and/or on the social committee.

  • Conducts research on various topics, as assigned.

Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of administrative responsibilities in a professional office setting.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Adobe.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Interpersonal skills to communicate to managers, clients, technical professionals, and peers.

  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks with changing priorities and competing deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track completion status.

  • Experience in preparing, editing, and formatting documents in Word and Excel.

  • Ability to work in a distributed work environment where other key members are in remote offices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education:

Associate's degree desired, bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent office experience

Computer Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word

  • Adobe

Physical Requirements:

This position is primarily performed in an office/business setting. To successfully perform this job, an individual should have the ability, with or without a reasonable accommodation, to:

  • Sit or stand at a desk for several hours to perform work in an office setting.

  • Ability to Lift 20 lbs. with or without accommodation.

Compensation

Individual compensation will vary within the following range based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience as they relate to the requirements for this position: $32.00-$36.00/hour. RH2 values our employees' work/life balance and compensates overtime for hours exceeding 40 regular hours in a work week.
