The Assistant Registrar position supports the core operational functions of the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine Registrar's Office. They apply knowledge of CAMED policies and procedures to support and guide students from matriculation to graduation. Areas include but are not limited to university compliance, course scheduling, licensure, and supporting the Visiting Student Program.
Maintains confidential student records in a manner that adheres to federal guidelines
Completes requests for transcripts, diploma translations, and certificates of enrollment, graduation, and loan deferment
Manages student enrollment requests for rotation schedule adjustments
Maintains the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities catalog
Reviews visiting rotation applicants for eligibility
Provides a welcoming environment for students, staff and faculty through reception responsibilities including greeting visitors, answering main telephone lines
Supports the calendar of the Registrar
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of related experience required. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional organization skills and strong attention to detail, strong technical skills, practice professional communication, and possess strong customer service skills. Experience working with diverse populations is a strong plus.
