Randstad is working with a company in Boston on a contract Vendor Operations Analyst opportunity. This is a contract role currently scheduled to go until May of 2025. This role is remote for the most part, but the person must be able to work onsite as needed which will be 2-3 times a month on average. Responsibilities

Job Description: The nature of the work is focused on the internal or external production of products. Creates and executes seasonal sourcing plans for assigned categories or products Represents Sourcing in cross functional line planning to ensure needs and capabilities are built into the timelines and process. Offers manufacturing alternatives to resolve design, development, or pricing challenges. Coordinates with Manufacturing teams to select the most appropriate manufacturing source to meet quality and pricing needs. Analyzes manufacturing capabilities to anticipate and avoid issues. Manages costing/pricing process in conjunction with Development team to meet best price and margin targets. Identifies fabric alternatives to product creation team to assist in meeting pricing goals Oversees costing documentation to ensure appropriate information is kept for assigned products.
