Description

We are in search of a Treasury Associate to become part of our team in the private equity real estate investment industry, located in Boston. As a Treasury Associate, you will be tasked with handling financial activities, maintaining an accurate record of cash flows, and managing bank accounts. You will also be expected to work closely with the Senior Treasury Associate to improve treasury processes and support external audit requests.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team in documenting daily cash positions and forecasting monthly cash flows.

• Oversee the initiation of wires for various vehicles.

• Communicate with property managers or Fund accountants regarding cash receipts.

• Record and update prior day's cash activities.

• Aid in the creation of documentation needed for the opening and closing of bank accounts and maintaining authorized signatories.

• Contribute to the upkeep of bank reconciliation logs.

• Assist in the transmission of positive pay to banks.

• Review bank fees for accuracy and suggest potential savings where applicable.

• Provide assistance for external audit requests.

• Handle other tasks and projects as required.

• Carry out additional duties as directed by the Treasurer

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background required

• 4-5+ years of experience in treasury

• Treasury Management System (TMS) software experience and accounting (MRI or other ERP) software experience a plus

• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) required

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all members of the organization

• Self-motivated, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment

• High level of professionalism and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality as required and appropriate

• Knowledge of Banking Operation is required
