Robert Half Systems Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are providing an opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is based in Boston, Massachusetts, and will play a critical role in our technical team. You will be tasked with the configuration and maintenance of our system infrastructures, development and execution of software test plans, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain the system infrastructures to ensure smooth operations

• Develop and execute software test plans to identify and rectify system issues

• Provide technical support to team members and clients to resolve system-related problems

• Utilize Cisco, Citrix, and AWS Technologies to optimize system performance

• Leverage knowledge of server computing and networking to maintain system integrity

• Employ Dell and Cloud Technologies to manage and store data effectively

• Use Active Directory for network management and user authentication

• Apply AB Testing and Cluster Analysis methods to improve system performance

• Utilize Backup Technologies to ensure data safety and business continuity

• Maintain a strong practical experience in PowerShell for scripting and automation purposes. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar Systems Engineering role.

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies.

• Knowledge of Citrix Technologies.

• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies and their applications in business environments.

• Experience with Database management and optimization.

• Proficiency in Dell Technologies.

• Familiarity with AB Testing methods and their implementation.

• Proficiency in Active Directory and its applications in network management.

• Experience with AWS Technologies.

• Knowledge of Backup Technologies.

• Familiarity with Cluster Analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments.

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest systems, technologies, and industry trends.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.

• Proven track record of maintaining professional and ethical work conduct.
