Description We are offering a contract for a Systems Analyst / Architect - Advanced in the finance industry, located in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting strategic initiatives, enhancing workflows, and extending platform capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately capture and document business requirements from various teams and third-party vendors

• Diagram and document system and process flows, identifying key components

• Define and deliver strategic interfaces that support software and services

• Evaluate third-party systems and solutions to enhance platform capabilities

• Foster relationships across different teams to support platform management

• Contribute to strategic initiatives within the platform management team

• Develop and execute test strategies and cases as necessary

• Assist in client onboarding processes

• Enhance workflow, data controls, and monitoring capabilities from start to finish

• Utilize your experience with CI/CD, cloud technologies, and interface development

• Apply your strong SQL programming skills, understanding of Snowflake cloud concepts, relational database design, and systems and process integration. Requirements • Proficient in Documentation processes to maintain and update system records

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation

• Experience in Training staff on system use and troubleshooting

• Knowledge of Operations, including system maintenance and monitoring

• Expertise in Database design, management, and optimization

• Proven experience in Designing system architecture and components

• Familiarity with the 'About Time' software for project management

• Ability to Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions

• Capability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial analysis for system improvements

• Proficient in Calendar Management to schedule system updates and maintenance

• Proven experience in Implementation of system updates and new features

• Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint for presenting system performance and plans

• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management

• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies for system hosting and scaling

• Experience with Monitoring Tools for system performance tracking

• Ability to liaise with Suppliers for system component procurement

• Familiarity with Agile methodology for system development and improvement

• Experience in Component Selection for system building and upgrading

• Proficiency in Programming languages for system development and customization

• Skilled in Streamlining system operations for efficiency

• Knowledge of Trading systems and operations

• Familiarity with JIRA for project management and bug tracking

• Proficiency in writing Business Requirement Documents for system development

• Ability to conduct Competitor Analysis for system benchmarking and improvement
