Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Staff Product Manager to lead the development of our Business Process Management & Workflow domain. As a Staff Product Manager, you will be responsible for highly interconnected work across multiple teams and expected to deliver user-friendly products that streamline operations and ensure a great customer experience. This role requires a deep understanding of end-to-end business operations, along with the ability to effectively launch and scale new products across multiple use cases and user groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop a product vision and strategy for Business Process Management / Workflow in support of Sunrun’s overall goals and objectives

Product Development:

  • Lead the full product lifecycle, including; discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, execution, roadmap development, and deprecation (if applicable)

  • Assess feature value and performance metrics in partnership with finance and business teams.   Drive prioritization to achieve the most effective outcomes.

  • Support requirements definition through the use of wireframes, process flows, user stories, product briefs, and other supporting artifacts  

  • Identify dependencies across teams and opportunities for consolidation to accelerate product time to value

  • Define and track key performance metrics to measure product and feature success and drive continuous improvement.

Customer Focus:

  • Conduct user research leveraging various methodologies to gather insights and validate product concepts

  • Deliver an intuitive user experience that delights internal customers, produces quick and meaningful insights, and enables expedient operational execution and triage

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Drive cross-functional product roadmap alignment and decisions across business teams, products, and engineering.

  • Clearly and succinctly communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes across all levels of the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 7-10 years of product management experience, with a focus on business process management, workflow, ordering & fulfillment, construction project management, or related areas.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Understanding of customer-centric product design and development methodologies.

  • Experience working in solar, construction, or renewable energy industry a plus.

It assumes that the successful candidate will be located in markets within the United States that warrant the compensation listed. Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

181,269.70 to 217,523.65

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards. Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
