About the role:

As a member of Takeda Oncology, as a Senior Manager, your work will contribute to our bold, inspiring vision: We aspire to cure cancer. As part of the US Oncology Marketing team, you will report to Head of Marketing, US Oncology, and partner with Sales, Legal, Integrated Brands, Patients Values & Access, Customer Experience and Insights, Ethics and Compliance, and external partners.

How you will contribute:

  • Develop, own and execute initiatives aligned with the US Oncology Strategy, brand strategy and deliver tactics for both Health Care Providers (HCP) and patient audiences.

  • Manage outside agencies and consultants to meet expected project objectives and hold them accountable to agreed upon standards.

  • Support the Integrated Brand teams prioritization, forecasting and budgeting process.

  • Liaise with legal, regulatory and compliance to ensure all marketing activities are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements.

  • Develop project and tactic assessments and valuations (ROI) that leverage analytics and research to identify successes.

  • Engage with internal and external partners to seek insights, best practices and identify innovations from experts.

  • Developan internal and external communication plan for the US Oncology business.

  • Serves as back-up for team members as needed and direct manager when requested.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • 5+ years of commercial pharmaceutical experience with minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical marketing required

  • US pharmaceutical commercial experience preferred

  • Knowledge in Biology, Marketing, Strategy and/or Business Administration preferred

  • Must be able to perform in fast paced environments, exhibit leadership skills, and be able to influence without authority

  • Must be able to comfortably liaise with physician thought leaders

  • Must be a self-starter who can function independently or within a team

  • Strong oral and written communication skills required

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills required

  • Must be able to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong financial management and budgeting capabilities required

  • Ability to develop productive vendor relationships and management

Travel Requirements:

  • Requires approximately 20-30% travel.

  • Willingness to travel to various meetings, conferences and could include nights and overnights. Some weekend travel may be required.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$133,000.00 - $209,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
