AON Sr Account Rep - Property Fac Facilities Broker in Boston, Massachusetts

General description of role:

As a Senior Account Representative in our Reinsurance Solutions line, you will help clients understand, lead and transfer risk through innovative reinsurance solutions. The role is immediately client-facing, offering exposure to high-level executives and decision-makers at clients and reinsurance providers. This role will also develop comprehensive reinsurance market and industry knowledge while working on a variety of lines of business, including property, general and specialty casualty, and workers’ compensation.

Job responsibilities:

  • Support broking teams in servicing reinsurance clients, including developing innovative solutions and strategic advice

  • Build out internal and external networks to assist in growth efforts

  • Participate in reinsurer discussions regarding client program placements

  • Prepare formal reinsurance submission materials and executive-facing presentations

  • Assist in the technical, data and operational analytics regarding client information

  • Collaborate with various supporting teams within Aon Reinsurance Solutions such as catastrophe modeling, actuarial and contract wording

    Skills/competencies required:

  • Performance of statistical analysis of data

  • Ability to perform well to reach goals with short or incremental timelines

  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet goals in a timely manner

  • Excellent social and networking skills

  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft products, with intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

    Desired Skills (Not required, but will set you apart from other qualified candidates):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is helpful, but not required.

  • Professional work experience using Microsoft Access is a strong plus.

  • 2+ years of work experience in the field of insurance/reinsurance

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is helpful, but not required

    Pay Transparency Laws:

    The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted to reflect applicant’s geographic location.

    This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
