Solutions Architect
The Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful implementation of complex projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the design, architecture, and selling of enterprise solutions. In addition, experience in solution design leveraging modern hybrid architecture to deliver Information, Content and Data Management solutions are key to the success of the individual. Lastly, the role will require a willingness to travel 50% on an annual basis. The Solutions Architect is essential to the continued success and growth of Iron Mountain’s Digital Business Unit (DBU).

The SA can prepare and deliver presentations of many kinds, understanding the many different goals and objections they may encounter, in order to align all aspects of our software solutions and services, strategically, to delight our clients and partners, and accelerate the sales cycle.
You are Humble. Working as a part of many teams, the SA gathers feedback and guidance to ensure they align with the broader goals of the sales teams, as well as client and partner needs. By remaining continually curious, the SA has a stated interest in continuous learning and professional growth, a willingness to accept new challenges and accountability.

The SA is focused and proactive, bringing an entrepreneurial attitude and ownership alongside their technical mastery to partner with key stakeholders in sales and leadership to help us innovate, maintain competitive advantages, and delight our customers and partners while advancing and accelerating sales.
You are Detailed. The role of SA leads the gathering of detailed information from both external and internal stakeholders, synthesizing this information into a comprehensive solution grounded in solution modeling, process flows, and financial spreadsheets. Attention to detail within and across these solution artifacts is a key component of a SA’s daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Understand customers physical and digital information environment and identify challenges; provide problem solving as it relates to Iron Mountain services
Scoping Iron Mountain solution across the Digital portfolio, which includes physical scanning services and software content management and automation solutions
Provide solution configuration recommendations, build and present architectural diagrams, quote/schedule/contract/SOW creation, modification and support
Answer sales teams questions and provide training as needed
Quote/schedule/contract/SOW creation, modification and support
Exceed assigned pipeline and quota achievement.
Preferred experience:
5+ Years of experience in at least 3 of the following disciplines:
Systems, Workflow, Business Process Management and Information Governance
Enterprise Software for structured and unstructured data and content management
Digitization (scanning) of multiple types of material, including business paper and microform
Digitization (scanning) of archival or unique material, such as books, journals or photographs
Digitization (scanning) process outsourcing, such as digital mailroom operations or mortgage custody operations
Digital Mailroom Operations, managing the intake of physical mail, process of handling this mail, and the subsequent digital delivery
Experience in data recognition / analysis technologies and how they are used in Machine Learning, Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Neural Networks, ECM-solutions, Document Management
Industry specific expertise around modern technologies and their impact in business transformation
Strong background and proven experience of consultative solution approaches, pre-sales/ sales process and technology focused-solution selling.
Additional Valuable Skills:
Experience with Enterprise Software including ERP, CRM, Document/Content management Information Governance and Business Intelligence
Experience working with Federal or State government RFPs, Contracts, and Operations
Travel Requirements : 50% of the time.
