We value the culture of diversity and professionalism in the workplace, and strongly believe that our workforce should reflect our community. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FM68GFV Office Location:1 Center PlazaBoston, MA 02108 Purpose of the Job: The Program Associate will handle the day-to-day operations of the program department and will serve as a point of contact between the Trust and borrowers/grantees, local financial advisors, local bond counsels, and staff at the Department of Environmental Protection regarding legal, financial, and programming documents. The Program Associate will provide general assistance to the Trust staff in the execution of Trust business. Additionally, the role will help the Trust establish and managenew grant and incentive programs utilizing federal funding. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Prepare, distribute, track, maintain, and archive all Trust loan and grants documents for the various programs. * Understand and be able to communicate the loan/grant process and the bonding process of the Trust to the borrowers. * In coordination with Deputy Director, conduct outreach and represent the Trust to borrowers and other outside groups. * Maintain written and electronic records of the Trust, including Loan Repayment Schedules for all loans. * Manage record retention/destruction schedule. * Organize the Trust’s public meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and keep the official record of the board. * Assist with federal grant reporting requirements. * Assist with the borrower sub-recipient monitoring process. * * Other Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Assist with the preparation of applications, reports, and other materials related to the administration of federal and state grants, including the Clean Water SRF and Drinking Water SRF. * Assist with the procurement process of outside advisors and vendors. * *Act as the Trust’s office manager and liaison with building management. * Commitment to promoting, fostering, and maintaining a culture of Diversity, Equality, Inclusion & Belonging. *Knowledge and Skills: * * *Bachelor’s degree preferred. * Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access. * Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. * Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. * Must have the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external groups to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving and results. * The individual will be expected to take ownership and accountability of their work product * The ability to work independently to complete an assigned task. * Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. * An understanding of municipal government preferred. *Job: Administrative Services *Organization: Off of State Treas & Rec Genrl *Title: *Program Associate * Location: *Massachusetts-Boston-1 Ashburton Place Requisition ID: 240005AH
