Private Equity Accounting Manager

Boston Area.

(Must live in Boston Area; Role is hybrid = 3+ days in office)

$100-130k

Our client, a boutique PE firm in the Boston Area, is looking for an Accounting Manager (Funds Focus) to join the team reporting to the CFO.

In this role, you will be heavily involved in accounting, reconcile fund bank accounts, capital calls, and compliance tasks, with a primary focus on active funds. You will be able to participate in supporting the future fundraising efforts of the firm. The firm already has multiple funds, exits. So, there is a nice history of success here. Great chance to get onto the PE side and grow with them as they continue their ride!

Requirements

Ideal candidate will have a very hands-on skill set. A progressing Staff/Senior ready for next step is encouraged to apply.

A current hands-on, working manager is also encouraged to apply.

General requirements:

• BS Acctg or Finance

• 3+ years in a PE fund accounting/reporting role. Direct PE Firm or Outsourced Service Provider can work.

• Strong system skills. Excel a must. Dynamo or similar acctg software.

• Ability and willingness to cover the wide variety of levels of work.

• Quick learner with the ability to work in a small, but highly-visible environment.

Compensation is very competitive, including base, bonus and very good benefits.
