Like shopping at Trader Joe's? Then, maybe you'll love working with us. We are looking for an Operations Store Support Specialist who is searching to do what they'll love! Do you have experience in supporting warehouse logistics? Do you love food? If so, read on! We may have the role of a lifetime for you!

Trader Joe's is unlike any place you've ever worked. Trust us on that. The qualified Operations Store Support Specialist has at least 3 years of warehouse logistics experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Boston, MA and must be available to work evenings and weekends.

The Operations Store Support Specialist is responsible for:

  • Assisting store management with missed ordering opportunities and tracking store shipments from point of origin warehouse to final destination.

  • Acting as a liaison between Trader Joe's offices, stores, carriers and warehouse partners.

  • Providing assistant for warehouses by verifying store order quantities or skipped orders.

  • Providing assistance to stores with special arrangements during holidays or emergency events.

  • Assisting stores in removing spoils, restocking the store, and returns to the warehouse.

  • Researching and responding to carrier inquiries for clarification on shipping information.

  • Working collaboratively with other departments.

The Operations Store Support Specialist has:

  • 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • An understanding of typical warehouse and transportation documentation and terms.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business management, or logistics and/or supply chain.

  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely.

  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, robust problem-solving skills.

  • Strong computer skills (Excel) and purchase order and inventory systems.
