POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, People Operations will oversee our HR and people operations team, ensuring a cohesive and positive employee experience across our international employee base.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Fosters a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our Company’s core values and promotes employee engagement and productivity.

  • Partners with leadership across the enterprise to understand and execute the organization's people resource and talent strategy as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting and retention.

  • Provides support and guidance to People Generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

  • Monitors workload distribution and performance of the People Generalists to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Provide operational reports to leadership for strategic analysis.

  • Ensure smooth functioning of routine HR processes such as employee data management, leave tracking, and compliance reporting.

  • Execute HR policies and procedures developed by leadership.

  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires.

  • Ensure adherence and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

  • A minimum of three years of human resource supervisory experience is preferred.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Proficient with Google Suite or related software.

  • Intermediate Excel Skills is a must: ie Pivot tables /VLOOKUP's and Formulas.

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS (ADP) and talent management systems (Workable).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Also requires ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
