Amazon Digital Marketing Manager - Healthcare & Life Sciences, Retail & Consumer Goods in Boston, Massachusetts

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to the AWS Industry Marketing team, focusing on our Healthcare & Life sciences and Retail & Consumer Goods industries. The Digital Marketing Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, generate demand for AWS services and solutions, and achieve business objectives. This position requires a strategic thinking and a deep understanding of marketing principles, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record of success in developing and executing effective marketing campaigns.

Key job responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that are aligned with goals of the AWS Industry Marketing team. Collaborate with Industry Marketing team members to define campaign objectives, key messaging, and tactics.

• Campaign Planning and Execution: Lead end-to-end campaign management, including planning, budgeting, execution, tracking, and ongoing optimization. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of marketing campaigns.

• Channel Strategy: Identify the most effective marketing channels and mediums to reach the target audience of each industry campaign. Develop channel-specific strategies, leveraging digital marketing, social media, email marketing, events, and other relevant channels.

• Marketing Automation Support: Manage marketing automation and digital marketing through the use of Marketo to develop emails, landing pages, and lead flow operations for each campaign.

• Analytics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns and track performance using analytics tools. Analyze campaign data, generate reports, and provide insights to stakeholders on the effectiveness of campaigns and recommendations for improvement. Partner with analysts to develop new reports as required.

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as product managers, sales teams, and executive leadership, to understand their needs and align campaign strategies with their goals. Effectively communicate campaign plans, progress, and results to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management

  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on campaign management and digital strategy.

  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful marketing campaigns, preferably in a fast-paced, B2B, technology environment.

  • Expert user of marketing technology including marketing automation platforms, customer relationship management systems, event management platforms, and digital asset management platforms/web hosting technology.

  • Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing channels, analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and influence stakeholders.

  • Organizational skills, and problem-solving.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
