Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Chair, Department of Pediatric Oncology in Boston, Massachusetts

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital are seeking an academic leader to serve as the chair of the Department of Pediatric Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Associate Chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Boston Children’s Hospital with an appointment as Professor or Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.

This individual will be responsible for the full scope of clinical, research and educational activities of the department as well as collaborative activities with the other departments at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School and affiliated institutions.

Candidates should be a physician or physician-scientist with national recognition for research accomplishments, and possess exceptional leadership, managerial and collaborative skills. Ideally, she/he would be a proven leader with an international reputation in pediatric oncology who can lead a complex and successful department to even higher levels of excellence. The candidate should also have a strong reputation as a mentor and teacher.
