Cash Management Sales Assistant

This position responds to daily client maintenance requests and research issues with urgency. Identifies new sales prospects within existing or untapped markets. Gathers market intelligence, generates leads, and contributes to developing proposals/campaigns to garner new business, ensuring a consistent flow of new revenues to the company. Uses knowledge of markets, industries, and clients to determine demand, future trends and potential projects.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Works with the CMSO in supporting their business development activities to drive revenue by assisting them with building proformas, pitch books/powerpoint decks, proximity studies and other administrative duties

  • Oversees the CMSOs’ Pipeline and close dates while insuring smooth onboarding of existing, and new, customers via partnership with the Implementation Team

  • Makes follow-up calls to customers post implementation as part of the Voice of the Customer satisfaction program in support of the CMSO

  • Assists in preparing proposals for existing and prospective customers

  • Creates schematics, gathers documents, and responds to daily customer maintenance requests

  • Identifies, and engages in, cross-selling opportunities when interacting with customers to ensure all customers’ cash management needs are met

  • Works with CMSOs and Cash Management Director on Risk Management and ad hoc Projects as they arise

  • Manages new business Exception Pricing and ECR process

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Banking, Business, Sales, Marketing or equivalent field.

Work Experience:

Business Development, Sales or related experience, 5+ years

Skills and Abilities:

Willingness to prospect new business and enhance existing relationships.

Self-motivated with proven organization and sales skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Team player capable of organizing, facilitating, leading and negotiating with bank associates to solve client issues/concerns.

Ability to work effectively with other team members across the Bank at all levels.

High proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint

Working Conditions:

Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Salary: $90,000 - $122,500/year
