Boston University BUSINESS ANALYST, School of Medicine, Department of Medicine in BOSTON, Massachusetts
The Business Analyst will assist the Senior Director of Revenue and Clinical Affairs in supporting financial and clinical goals. Under the Sr. Director's guidance, the analyst will help identify areas for improvement in the department's financial and clinical performance. This role will provide support across the department of medicines clinical subdivisions and assist in executing departmental goals.
Analytics and Data:
Supports analysis efforts for assigned projects by collecting and interpreting data to evaluate performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
Assists in providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions, planning, and budget considerations, offering recommendations based on analysis findings rather than leading strategy development.
Monthly Reporting:
Assists in the preparation of executive-level reporting, summaries, and presentations by gathering relevant information, organizing data, and supporting the production of materials.
Helps communicate analysis findings to non-technical audiences by summarizing key insights and providing clear explanations. Supports team members in basic coaching and training on understanding and using data in decision-making.
Project Management:
Provides project management for ongoing and new data analysis initiatives, coordinating logistics such as project timelines, agenda development, production and distribution of meeting minutes and documents, and project status reports and activities to various audiences.
Maintains strong and productive relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
Provides superior customer service always.
Understands and managers customer expectations.
Undertakes special projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle and Clinical Affairs.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree required, with 3-5 years of related work experience.
